Company Holidays
Flōridian recognizes the following paid company holidays each year. If a holiday falls on a weekend, it is not separately observed, with the exception of Christmas Day: if Christmas Day falls on a weekend, the following weekday is observed in its place.
| Holiday | Date |
|---|---|
| New Year's Day | January 1 |
| Memorial Day | Last Monday in May |
| Juneteenth Day | June 19 |
| Thanksgiving | Fourth Thursday and Friday in November |
| Christmas Day | December 25 |
Memorial Day and Thanksgiving fall on those weekdays each year, so their calendar dates shift annually; the other three holidays fall on the same calendar date every year. Thanksgiving now includes both the fourth Thursday and the following Friday of November as paid company holidays. As noted above, Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall within the Year-End Company Closure described below and are observed as part of that closure rather than as separate individual days off.
Personal Holidays
In addition to the company holidays above, each team member receives three (3) paid personal holidays per calendar year:
- The team member's birthday.
- One additional day of the team member's choosing.
- One additional day of the team member's choosing.
The two discretionary days must be declared by the team member each calendar year (declared dates are not required to be consecutive or tied to any particular occasion).
Paid Vacation
Each team member receives one (1) paid week of vacation per calendar year. Eligibility for the vacation week becomes available beginning January 1 of each calendar year and may be scheduled at any point during that year.
Team members must provide at least 30 days' advance notice before the first day of the requested vacation week.
Year-End Company Closure
Flōridian is closed company-wide from December 24 through the first Sunday of the new year, inclusive. Team members return to work on the following Monday. This closure covers the Christmas Day and New Year's Day holidays listed above.
